Stefanie Van Backlé .
Stefanie Van Backlé (1985°) started piano and violin studies in Lokeren before going to the music academy of Sint-Niklaas when she was 13 years old. She studied with Johan Lybeert and Nico Baltussen.
After her studies at the music academy she continued at the "hogeschool voor Kunsten" in Utrecht and t the "Hochschule für Musik und Tanz" in Keulen. After she went to the Royal Conservatory of Brussels to perfection with Yossif Ivanov.
Stefanie had prizes on national and international competions, both as a pianist and a violinist.
She became Finalist at the International 'De Beriot' Competition for violin, 2nd Prize at the Cantabile Competition, 2nd Prize at the Ottoboni Competition for Chamber Music and 1ste Prizes at the Dexia Classics Competition for chamber music and violin.
As a soloist, she collaborated with several orchestras, such as the Orchestre de la Musique de Chambre de Wallonie, the Symphonic Orchestra of East Flanders,the BES chamber Orchestra, orchestra of the Conservatory of Utrecht,, l’Orchestre Symphonique de Tournai and the Symphonic Orchestra of Sint-Niklaas
